Since its inception in 2011, the Product Stewardship Act has guided the development of both voluntary and co-regulatory stewardship schemes. Over the last 10 years we have worked with industry and government in the development of the Paint, Batteries, Tyres, TV ‘s & Computer’s, waste oil, textiles, mattresses and medical PVC schemes to name a few and the recent review of the Product Stewardship Act.

The Global Product Stewardship Council (GlobalPSC) is an independent, not-for-profit forum for product stewardship development and an online resource on product stewardship and extended producer responsibility policies and programs across the world.
Our membership spans 10 countries and includes producers, product recovery organisations, reprocessors, NGOs and governments at federal, state/provincial and local levels. The GlobalPSC’s vision is to help facilitate the development of effective product stewardship and EPR schemes globally. Our approach is based on three key aspects:
